Police say there were five blow-gun attacks within an hour of each other last Monday. Police say all of them in the same area along Six Forks Road near North Hills.
Gary Britt was leaving his Bible study when he caught a glimpse of a small car veering into the outside lane on Six Forks Road Monday night.
"I felt something hit me. I thought originally someone hit me with some chewing gum or something," he said.
Britt discovered that a 4-inch-long blow dart was stuck deep into his arm.
"It was about 12 inches, maybe 10, from my eye," he said.
Police said there were five separate reports of drive-by blow dart attacks. Three people allegedly shot at were pedestrians and two others were on bikes. No one was seriously injured.
"I would think most of the people that buy these blow darts are teenagers that don't realize how dangerous they are," Britt said.
Police are looking for a dark-colored, older-model Datsun with glow lights around the license plate.
