Revels Adds Two Groups To Miss N.C. Lawsuit

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — There are new developments in the Miss North Carolina crown controversy.

Barry Nakell, Rebekah Revels' attorney, has filed an amendment to the beauty pageant contestant's lawsuit against Miss North Carolina and Miss America. The ammendment adds members of the Miss North Carolina Board and the Miss North Carolina Executive Committee as individual defendants.

Revels is seeking $10,000 in damages. Revels claims she was forced to resign her title after pageant officials heard her ex-fiance had topless photos of her.
