DURHAM, N.C. — The case of a Durham novelist accused of killing his wife returns to court Friday afternoon.
A motions hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. in the Michael Peterson murder case.
Peterson is accused of killing his wife, Kathleen Peterson, last December. Kathleen's sister is expected to testify at Friday's hearing.
Peterson's last court appearance was earlier this month. His trial is scheduled to begin in May.
