Cary Gives Approval To Amberly Project

Posted Updated

CARY, N.C. — The town of Cary has given the thumbs-up to a major new development.

The project, called Amberly, will cover more than 1,094 acres and is located north of New Hope Church Road.

The proposal calls for homes, stores and offices straddling the border of Wake and Chatham counties.

Several years ago, the land was zoned for a golf course community, but the property has since been sold.
