HOPE MILLS, N.C. — A Cumberland County family refuses to give up searching for their missing loved one.
The family of
Kent Jacobs
unveiled a billboard with his picture along Business 95 on Thursday. Jacobs, who is mentally challenged, wandered away from his Hope Mills home six months ago. Investigators have not ruled out foul play.
The new billboard is a few hundred yards from the last place he was seen.
"It's sort of a relaunch to say he's still not home. It's the beginning for his family. We want to reintroduce his case and increase local and national public awareness," said Jackie Jacobs, Kent's sister.
Jacobs' family also released more detailed information about what he was wearing the day he disappeared. He was last seen in a blue zip-up Harley-Davidson sweat shirt.
