Gunman Arrested In Overnight Kenly Shooting

KENLY, N.C. — Johnston County sheriff's deputies have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in Kenly.

Authorities believe Cheyenne Holmes shot a woman twice in the back early Wednesday morning during a domestic dispute.

The shooting happened at a mobile home in the 3000 block of Princeton Kenly Road.

Deputies are still trying to determine the motive.

The unidentified woman was rushed to a local hospital. There is word on her condition.
