WILSON, N.C. — A third suspect is in custody for this week's Nash County home invasion that left an elderly woman dead.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Cedric Ellis in Wilson Friday. Police believe Ellis, along with Orlando Faison and Terro Ward, forced their way into a Nash County home Tuesday night and killed 73-year-old Mattie Keen.

Keen's son, Kenneth, was also shot in the incident, and he was released from the hospital Thursday.

So far, Ellis has only been charged with burglary. Ward and Faison also face charges in the case.

Deputies say 67-year-old

Johnnie West

was beaten by the same men three hours earlier.
