CARY, N.C. — Tighter water restrictions are now in effect in Cary.
The town council voted Thursday for the
tougher restrictions
on both residential and commercial watering.
Effective immediately, residents can only water lawns twice a week; businesses are restricted to watering once a week.
Town leaders said if the new restrictions do not help the water supply,they will consider a ban on watering.
