Storm Troopers Owner Returning To N.C. To Face Judge

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — An out-of-town contractor who ripped off homeowners after Hurricane Floyd may spend more time behind bars.

Robert McKee founded the defunct "Storm Troopers" business to rebuild homes after the flood. McKee was convicted last year for deceiving flood victims, but he was allowed to move to Texas so he could work and pay back his victims.

The judge says McKee is not sending the money on schedule. He is being brought back from Texas, so he can face the judge.
