HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — A 20-year-old man missing from his Holly Springs group home since Saturday has been found.
Holly Springs police found James Akins hiding under a house at 1600 Main Street just before 1 a.m. Thursday.
Searchers lost track of Akins after he took his clothes off and left the group home on Avent Ferry Road and jumped into a nearby pond.
Akins, who is described as developmentally challenged, was evaluated at Western Wake Medical Center, before being released to the care of the group home.
