Durham Public Schools Turn In Record-Breaking Test Scores

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham public schools are celebrating record-breaking test scores.
Preliminary results show 27 of the system's 41 schools turned in their highest scores in reading and math ever.
Three schools had 90 percent of students testing at or above grade level.
One school, Y.E. Smith Elementary, reported the largest 1-year improvement -- 16 percentage points.
