Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh teen will be remembered by his friends and family this weekend.

Pierre Williams, a counselor at the Wilburn YMCA in Raleigh, was killed Monday in a drive-by shooting near his home on Grantland Drive.

Funeral services and visitation will be held Saturday at the Deliverance Cathedral of Love on Curtis Road in Raleigh. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. with the funeral following at 2 p.m.

Police have questioned a lot of people, but they have made no arrests in the case.

Williams was very popular among the kids at the Wilburn YMCA.

"I loved him. When I'd come to the car, Pierre would be sitting in the car like he's going home with my mom," said Austin Pate who attends the Wilburn YMCA.

Williams co-workers said the YMCA has not been the same since his death. They said his laughter and his ability to make everyone he came in contact with happy are things they will miss most.
