RALEIGH, N.C. — Deputies have arrested another man in connection with helping a Johnston County teen set fires.

Kevin Daniel Beasley, 18, was arrested Tuesday in Johnston County. He was charged with burning an unoccupied building and burning personal property.

Beasley is accused of helping Daniel Barefoot set fire to a Meadow barn and school bus. Barefoot was arrested Friday when deputies found two pipe bombs and bomb-making materials at his home near Dunn. Barefoot made his first court appearance on Monday.

Beasley is being held in the Johnston County Jail on $150,000 bond.

Barefoot's father, Charles, is accused of plotting to blow up government buildings in Johnston County. He will appear in federal court on Wednesday.
