CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Some area parents are getting what they wanted -- a fence around their children's elementary school.
The fence is going up around Frank Porter Graham Elementary in Chapel Hill as safety measure after a student was nearly kidnapped.
A man who lived in a nearby apartment complex has been charged.
Parents said they were concerned about a pathway between the school and the apartments.
