Fayetteville Homeowners Spared Property Tax Increase

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville City Council expects taxpayers will be pleased with the $80 million budget members approved Monday.

Council members had considered a 2 cent property tax increase for homeowner.

City manager Roger Stancil decided to cut more than $1 million in proposed spending to avoid the rate hike.
