Fort Bragg Watering Restrictions

FORT BRAGG — Fort Bragg is relaxing water restrictions issued last week due to low surface water levels. Lawn watering schedules are now in effect for family housing areas, units, barracks and agencies on the installation.

Military vehicles must use the Central Wash Facility, and aircraft washing is limited to meet mission readiness. Washing of privately owned vehicles at housing units, barracks, units and auto craft shops is prohibited.

Lawns in the housing areas, units, barracks and agencies on the installation can be watered between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. for no more than 20 minutes.

The watering schedule is as follows:Housing Areas Monday - Hammond, Nijemgen Tuesday - Battaan, Ardennes, Anzio and Pope Air Force Base Housing Wednesday - Bougainville, and St. Mere Eglise Thursday - Corregidor, Casablanca, Bastogne and Normandy Friday - Biazza Ridge and Cherbourg Saturday - Hammond, Normandy, Nijmegen, Battaan, Anzio, Cherbourg and Pope Air Force Base Housing Sunday - Biazza Ridge, Bougainville, Corregidor, Casablanca, Bastogne, Ardennes and St. Mere Eglise. Heritage Village should adhere to Hoke County policies.

Units, Barracks, Directorates and Contractors: Monday - North of Butner Road Tuesday - South of Butner and West of Reilly Friday - South of Butner and East of Reilly
