Aggie-Eagle Classic May Find Permanent Home In Raleigh

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The battle over the location for the annual Aggie-Eagle Classic lies in the hands of the Wake County commissioners.

Right now, the commissioners are talking about a deal that could keep the game between North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T in Raleigh after plans to move the game to Charlotte fell through.

Capitol Broadcasting, WRAL's parent company, has come up with a plan to keep the game in Raleigh by creating a nonprofit group to manage the event.
