<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A Fort Bragg soldier has been charged with raping a teenage girl.

Cumberland County investigators charged Sgt. Steve Roberts, 39, with one count of Statutory Rape of a Person who is 13, 14,or 15 years old, and one count of Indecent Liberties with a Child.

Sources confirm the girl is pregnant with Roberts' child.

The alleged abuse happened at Roberts' Fayetteville home between March 28 and April 8. Investigators said the teen was a friend of Roberts' daughter.

Roberts was released to the Army on Thursday after being held under $100,000 secure bond.
