Warrant Issued For Chapel Hill Pit Bull Owner

Posted Updated

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A Chapel Hill man charged with letting his pit bulls run loose could end up behind bars.

Ralph Logner has been cited five times by animal control officers. A judge issued a warrant for Logner's arrest Monday after he skipped a court appearance.

His pit bulls bit a woman and viciously attacked her dog after one of their escapes. The pit bulls were later stolen from the animal shelter where they were being held.

Around that time, Logner was evicted from his home and stopped going to work.
