CARY, N.C. — Work has begun on the bleachers at Cary High School to make them safer.
Equipment that will be used to fill the spaces arrived Monday.
A 6-year-old girl died last month after she slipped through the gaps and hit her head.
Several area schools are also making changes. The bleachers at Cary High School must be fixed before June 1.
