Family, Friends Say Goodbye To Brandy Martin

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Friends and family members gathered Monday to say goodbye to Brandy Martin.

The 26-year-old Campbell University Law School student died Friday from injuries she suffered a week before.

Services were held Monday at Fayetteville Christian Church. The university will hold a moment of silence during its graduation ceremony in her memory.

Martin's husband, Geoffrey, 26, is accused of beating her with a softball bat. Martin's husband, Geoff, answered to first-degree murder charges Monday morning.

Martin was 7 months pregnant. Her baby, Victoria, is in stable condition and doing well.
