<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Johnston County couple faces charges for allegedly abusing their 3-month-old son.

Doctors say the baby was shaken violently in March and suffered brain damage.

Deputies arrested Kelly Norris and Jessie Ullom Friday.

The baby is out of the hospital and in the custody of relatives.
