WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A late-night car crash in Wake County has left three people dead, including a small child.
The Highway Patrol said the wreck happened just before midnight Tuesday along the 6000 block of Knightdale-Eagle Rock Road between Knightdale and Wendell.
Troopers said the car was traveling westbound when it ran off the left side of the road, hit a brick wall and burst into flames.
A man, a woman and a child in the car were all killed. Their names have not been released.
