GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Wayne County bus driver accused of dragging a child is no longer behind the wheel.
Charlena Morris has turned in her resignation. Police say she pulled away from a bus stop last week, not knowing the door closed on an 8-year-old's book bag.
The bus dragged the boy about 200 feet.
