RALEIGH, N.C. — It was a short day at the Wake County Courthouse on Monday.
A water leak that shorted out the electrical distribution system left the courthouse without air conditioning and with partial lighting. Officials closed the courthouse to the public for the rest of the day.
County commissioners were forced to move their meeting from the seventh floor of the courthouse to the Wake County office building.
