WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Investigators want to talk with two men who witnessed their friend's death over the weekend.
Police say a man crossing Highway 64 near Rolesville Road was hit by several cars while trying to cross the highway around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
The victim's identity has not been released.
The Highway Patrol said two men who were with the victim took off when he was hit. Both lanes of Highway 64 were shut down for nearly two hours.
