FAYETTEVILLE — The city of Fayetteville is hoping its Clean Sweep event will encourage residents to clean up their homes and neighborhoods.
Beginning April 13 and running through May 3, the city will pick up items like old grills, mattresses and furniture for free.
Workers will not collect hazardous materials such as oil drums, timber and other items not accepted at the landfill.
The date of pickup was posted residents' trash cans.
