BYNUM, N.C. — Stamps will still be sold in a small Chatham County post office for now.
The postal service had planned to shut down the Bynum post office because of slow sales, but the manager says the U.S. Postal Service reversed its decision.
There is no word as to why the U.S. Postal Service changed its mind, but the manager thinks a petition residents signed played a part.
