RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people were severely burned in an electrical accident Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the two electricians were drilling in a wall at Somerset Park, an office building on Bland Road when they hit an electrical wire Thursday afternoon.

"It sounded like an explosion and all of the lights went out in the building," said Robert Tart who heard the explosion.

Both workers were taken to the UNC Burn Unit with burns to their chest, arms and face. Their names and conditions have not been released yet.
