CARY, N.C. — The weather may have contributed to a deadly crash that shut down Aviation Parkway for three hours Wednesday.
A car and van collided head-on just before 11 a.m. along Aviation Parkway where it passes over Lake Crabtree. Jandova Martina, the driver of the car, died.
Police said Martina lost control of her car and crossed the center line. The van driver was not seriously hurt.
