FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A memorial service will be held Thursday for a Fort Bragg Army pilot who died Friday in Arizona.
Chief Warrant Officer Lowell Timmons was a member of the Army Golden Knights Parachute Team based at Fort Bragg.
The team was conducting practice jumps when the plane collided with another aircraft.
The service for Timmons will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the main post chapel.
