WILSON, N.C. — Wilson County deputies are looking for a man who tried to lure a 7-year-old girl into his car Friday morning.
Investigators said the stranger tried to coax the girl into his car while she waited for a schoolbus at the end of her driveway.
The man started asking for directions when the girl's mother stepped out to confront him.
Officials said that they do not think the incident is related to an attempted abduction at a school bus stop in Wilson earlier this month.
