CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — The already-troubled Cumberland County jail has another hurdle to clear.
Miller Building Corporation claims it is unwilling and unable to finish work at the new detention center.
A bonding company is now working with the county to complete the work.
The jail may be finished in June, but it may not open because the county will not have money to operate it.
