FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.C. — The North Carolina Highway Patrol is not giving up the search for a man who has been on the run since Friday.
State troopers were following a car on Highway 64 near the Wake County-Franklin County line, saying the driver was "acting erratically," when the car's driver slammed into a tractor-trailer and took off on foot.
State troopers do not know who the driver was or why he ran.
