EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — Edgecombe County sheriff's detectives have now filed charges against two teenagers who they say came up with a school hit list.

Seventeen-year-old Ginger Adcock, a senior at Southwest Edgecombe High School, and a 15-year-old male student are accused of compiling a hit list of about 25 teachers and students.

Both face felony charges of conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon. The boy is also charged with soliciting others to carry out the assault.

The Sheriff's Office will not say whether a weapon was recovered.
