CARY, N.C. — A final tribute was held Sunday for a young woman who died in an apartment fire near the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Family and friends of Beth Harris, 20, gathered for her funeral at her family's Cary church. They shared special photos and momentos from Harris' journals.
Harris was remembered as someone who always smiled and brightened the days of those who knew her.
She is one of four people who died in the fire.
Janet Danahey, 23, is in jail, charged with four counts of first-degree murder. Police say Danahey set the fire because of a relationship problem she had with someone who lived in the building. Danahey did not know the victims.
