CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A memorial fund has been set up for a Chatham County boy who lost his life while crossing the street to get on a school bus.
Terrance Howard and his stepbrother, 9-year-old Monterris Davis, were crossing the road to catch the school bus Tuesday morning when a pickup truck hit him.
Howard died instantly. Davis is at UNC Hospitals with minor injuries.
