ATLANTA, Ga. — Georgia Tech football coach Chan Gailey has hired Andrea "Brick" Haley as linebackers coach, leaving two more assistant coaches jobs still available.
Gailey, hired last month after George O'Leary resigned, is still searching for a defensive coordinator and a special teams coach.
Haley, 35, was hired Monday. He spent the last three seasons as Baylor's defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
Haley, who played at Alabama A&M from 1984-88, was defensive line coach at Austin Peay State from 1991-93. He also was an assistant at Troy State, Houston and Clemson.
