FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A struggling Fayetteville mall will soon have a new look.
The owners of Marketfair Mall on Skibo Road plan to tear most of it down and rebuild it as an outdoor shopping center. The plans would not affect the movie theatre, which opened in 2000.
Owners said outdoor entrances would increase visibility for businesses. Construction is expected to start in about six months.
