ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — Three people lost their lives in a collision in Robeson County.
The incident happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highways 711 and 1003 near Pembroke.
Authorities say the driver of a Ford Explorer did not yield to an oncoming truck as it crossed the intersection. All three people in the Explorer died when the vehicles collided.
The victims are 34-year-old Irma Selenes, 17-year-old Pablo Sosa, and 18-year-old Miguel Sosa of Robeson County. The driver of the truck was not injured.
