CHAPEL HILL, NC — N.C. State fans are celebrating while UNC fans are shaking their heads in wonder, after the Wolfpack beat the Tar Heels Wednesday night in Chapel Hill.
After the game, a parade of cars honking their horns competed with about 200 fans who turned the intersection of Hillsborough and Horne streets in Raleigh into a cheering section.
Extra campus police officers and a few Raleigh Police officers were standing by, to keep the celebration safe.
