KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — As many as 1,800 Carolina Power & Light customers in Knightdale were without power Tuesday afternoon.
CP&L said that crews were working to fix a mechanical substation when the feeder lines went down. The area affected homes along Highway 64.
Power was later restored in the area.
