DURHAM, N.C. — Hundreds of students are braving the cold to get the hottest ticket in town. Krzyzewskiville is up and running at Duke University.
Die-hard Blue Devil fans will be tenting it for the next ten days in hopes of getting prime seats for the Duke-Maryland game next Thursday night. Students said tarps, blankets and plenty of layers are key to keeping warm.
"It's definitely crazy. It's a lot of fun. It's kind of bragging rights to say I did this. It's a good story to tell," said one student.
Tenting is pretty serious business. There are 11 pages worth of rules the students have to follow, including a section on inclement weather. If it dips below freezing, students can spend the night in their dorms, but most of them say they plan to stick it out.
