Real-Life Grinch On The Loose In Raleigh

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — There is a real-life grinch on the loose in Raleigh.

The Rose family woke up Sunday to find their holiday decorations had been stolen. A four-foot-tall snowman, a Santa Claus and two wooden reindeer were taken, but the thieves left a set of antlers.

To 10-year-old Hayden Rose, the situation is about much more than decorations.

"I think, 'What kind of person would want to steal Christmas decorations?' I don't think they care about what the kids feel or what the people in the house feel," he said.

The missing decorations have been part of the Rose family tradition for years and now they are just hoping someone will return them.
