Show Your Support During World AIDS Day On Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. — Saturday is World AIDS Day and there are several things you can do to show your support to those living with AIDS and to help find a cure.

At 2 p.m. Friday, the fourth annual World AIDS day walk takes place in Raleigh at Polk Place. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. Free T-shirts will be handed out to the first 400 walk participants.

On Saturday, the AIDS Alliance of the Carolinas will hold its annual candlelight vigil for World Aids Day at 5 p.m. at the North Carolina Museum of Art.

More than 36 million people are living with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
