<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Putting a child-safety seat in your car can be tricky, so the Durham Police Department will help you out for free.

In conjunction with the Durham SAFE KIDS coalition, officers will be checking child-safety seats at the Bennett Point Shopping Center, located in the 4600 block of Hillsborough Road in Durham.

The officers will be at the shopping center from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. Officers will also be fingerprinting children.
