Rocky Mount Family Receives Bundle Of Joy Times Four

Posted Updated

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — One home in Rocky Mount is going to be pretty active in a few weeks. Denise Shearin gave birth to four babies a few days ago - three girls and a boy.

The pitter-patter of little feet will sound like thunder in the Shearin house. Summer, Kaitlyn, Autumn and Jensen are the newest additions to Denise and Donald Shearin's family.

"Yes, it's going to be very active. It's going to be an adventure, but one that we're looking forward to," Denise said.

Donald Shearin is ready for the job and grateful that the family's church, the Nashville Praise and Worship Center, is helping out.

"They've got a lot planned, especially after the babies come home, 24-hour help for at least the first three months, so that's going to be a big help from them," Donald said.

Denise was released from the hospital Thursday, but the babies will have to stay in the hospital for a few more months. Doctors say they are doing fine. The Shearins already have a 3-year-old daughter named India.
