CHAPEL HILL — Chapel Hill voters elected a new mayor Tuesday.
Town council member Kevin Foy received 58 percent of the vote to beat out fellow council member Lee Pavao, who received 40 percent of the vote.
A third candidate, Cam Hill, received 1 percent of the vote despite dropping out of the race several days ago. His name remained on the ballot.
