LILLINGTON — The Department of Transportation says it will temporary close part of a Harnett County highway to clear trees damaged in a
fatal wreck
Monday.
The DOT will closeU.S. 421 one half-mile east of U.S 401 on Thursday, Oct. 18 from9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Motorists will have to use the signed detour route on U.S 421 to Willie Cameron Road and back to U.S. 421 to avoid the removal of trees.
