Rhythms Of The World Unite In Raleigh This Weekend

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — "Rhythms of the World" is taking over the Raleigh Conference and Convention center this weekend.

The event will include plenty of entertainment and delicious fare from 12 different nations -- everything from Caribbean cuisine to German treats.

Vendors will also be on hand with crafts and plenty to do for the kids.

"Rhythms" is in lieu of the International Festival, which has been postponed because of the attack on America.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted for disaster relief funds. Doors are open Friday from 6-11 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
